J-10B in operational evaluation

Showing here in a CCTV report is 30 Chinese Academy of Engineering Academicians invited to tour PLAAF units and a GAD testing facility.  The footage also shows JH7 814 and a Y8 GX, which had its rear ramp open but clearly partitioned off inside.

Since J-10B is now transferred to an operational eval unit, barring any unforeseen circumstances the commission date should not be too far off.

Thanks hmmwv for the tip.

J-10B pre-production

Thanks Deino for this detailed comparison between the prototype model and pre-production model of the J-10B and you can tell, there are minor differences between those two. The locations of two small antennas under the nose IRST (Infra-red search and track) is one of the most visible sign.

As a side note, the pro-production J-10B photo Deino used was mirrored and here is the original photo.

Is it just me or is J-10 B ugly?.

Your writing is a bit of lately. The expression is "is it just me or is J-10 B ugly?"

Might want to check the previous post as well.

"This CCTV report shows a militia managed ammunition depot offloading HQ-16 launches to the near by Shanghai Garrison. This is to suggest that after the 38th and 39th Group Army, the Shanghai Garrison is also be protected by HQ-16A
"

HQ-16 launchers not "launches", Shanghai Garrison will also be protected by HQ-16A, not "the Shanghai Garrison is also be protected by HQ-16A"

Thanks Justin,

Corrected on both counts.
