More mobile firepower to China's mountain infantry units

The PLL-09 122-mm self-propelled howitzer system fires at a simulated target during the live-fire training conducted by a mechanized infantry regiment under the PLA Western Theater Command in the Pamir mountains in China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on Sept. 9, 2016. The training aims to test the performance of the PLL-09 in plateau environment. (81.cn/ Wang Ning)

Is it only for 122mm calibre or any further plan to developed 152/155mm version based on this vehicle?

Not seeing anything that would suggest a 152/155mm version in the work.

that said, there is a truck mounted 155mm system. I believe Burma has some in service.

I have read there is a 155mm version of the ZDB-09 family on an open mount similar to that of the 2S5 Giatsint-S, but I have not been able to find any solid info.

not sure the ZDB-08 chassis can support a 155mm mount. Will keep an eye on it.
